Can’t say I’m moved in, but I’m here. Most of my things are still packed and sitting in where the living room should be. I know, I should be unpacked and enjoying the new digs; but, if you’ve ever seen the Tom Hanks movie, “The Money Pit”, then you can get a visualization of the nightmare that is my current dwelling.
Don’t get me wrong, I am happy to be out here in Montgomery County. The neighborhood is 50 shades better than my old block. (Sorry, I had to throw in that reference somewhere on this blog.) But this house? It’s going to need a lot of work before it resembles a home.
Sort of like how a lot of editing and rewriting goes into making a first draft a finish product. Guess it’s time to get to work.
