I wanted to participate in Script Frenzy this year, but after looking at what I have on my creative to do list, I think I’ll sit this one out. I will be cheering from the sidelines, though, so I will be active on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus to cheer on both friends and strangers alike.
There are unfinished projects sitting on my desk that need my attention. They will either need to find a home in another publication, or be laid to rest and put in the project graveyard. I’ll still take notes on newer projects, but my attention will be on the earlier works.
Wait, you mean you never heard of Script Frenzy? Think of it as NaNoWriMo, but for script writing. (But then again, if you’ve never heard of NaNo, then my previous sentence made no sense.) You can read more about Script Frenzy by clicking here. While you’re at it, you can read about NaNoWriMo by clicking here. It’s writing at a frantic pace, but in the end, it’s a fun and engaging way to kickstart a project. I urge you to check it out and, if you decide to jump in, shoot me a note and I will be sure to cheer for you, too!
