Camp NaNoWriMo update

Made the decision to pull out of NaNoWriMo for the summer. With the Stepping Stones Magazine site down, I need to focus my attention of getting it up and running as quickly as possible. This doesn’t mean I won’t be writing. I mean, I have The Magic Spreadsheet to appease. A Pound of Flesh will get put on the shelf, while I continue working on Racing the Rain. Unfortunately, I’m not sure when Ronin Walker will get his chance to save the world, but I know he will be somewhere lurking in the back of my mind.

Speaking of Racing, I need to send a special to Heather Lenz (@ravensamongme on Twitter) for her keen eye in editing the first three chapters. She is an amazing friend and fellow writer and I am blessed to have her in my corner. I read over what I wrote and it just flows that much better. Her edits were a big help since I am writing Racing as I go. So, Heather, on behalf of the readers I thank you for making my words legible.

To everyone participating in Camp NaNoWriMo or JulNoWriMo, I will be cheering for you and popping in the forums to see how everyone is fairing. I’m sure I will see many of you in November. I’ll be looking forward to reconnecting with you.

So, time to back up what I have written and get some sleep. My regularly scheduled program begins tomorrow with an early wake up call, a site on which to start working and more words to feed to the spreadsheet.
