Looking to replace the replacement

In other MacBook-related news, I’m getting more comfortable with the keyboard. My typing speed improved significantly over the past couple of days. However, despite getting used to typing on the keyboard, I’m still looking for a replacement laptop sometime around the end of the month. Right now, it’s a tossup between the Acer S3 or S5 and the Lenovo IdeaPad. Surprisingly, Dell and Linux play well together, but I’ll admit to being biased when it comes to Dell PCs. I’m open to suggestions, though, if anyone wants to nominate a laptop. I do have a few “must haves” though:

  • Chicklet-styled keyboard
  • >4 hours battery life
  • 12-14 inch screen
  • Light enough for daily commute

Other than that, I’m wide open, so feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments.
