I can think of many reasons for my hate of Windows 8. I decided to dedicated a section of the blog do chronicling my horrid journey into using what has to to be the worst piece of software since Windows ME. Here are the specs of the PC on which this cancer resides:
HP Pavilion PC with an AMD Phenom II X4 840T Processor
10 GB RAM
Windows 8.1 (64-bit edition)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 graphics card
1.25 TB of hard drive space
Wired ethernet connection
Up until a week ago, my desktop dual booted between Windows 7 and Antergos. I purchased Windows 8 back when Microsoft was giving the OS away for $15. I received the 8.1 upgrade through the Windows Store. The posts that follow are my experiences using Windows 8.1. You might say 8.1 worked wonders on your machine. Good for you, but I’m talking about my experiences on my hardware.
You’re more than welcome to voice your views in response to what I write. I’m not going to stop you for defending your OS, however, if you’re going to bullshit us all and talk about how superior Windows 8 is to the rest of the computing world, then obviously you never used Windows XP or Windows 7 and I will call you a charlatan.
