Racing the Rain

With chapter two out of the way, I turn my attention to chapter three. Things are going well, though I will admit keeping the editor in me locked up in the back of my mind is a bit hard sometimes. But, there will be a time for that. Right now, it is all about telling the story. Chapter two is online for your reading pleasure. As always, thanks for your support.

Racing the Rain

Chapter two continues forward, so I’m thankful for the small victories that occasionally come my way. I find myself tearing the original text to shreds. In a sense, everything on the site is written from scratch. Overall, I think it will make Racing better. The only downside is my not being able to upload chapters as fast as I would like. Finally published the first chapter of Racing the Rain online. I can’t tell you how good it feels to get over this first of many hurdles. I’ve talked about this project on and off for almost a year and now it’s here. Seeing the first chapter online makes Racing more real for me. Racing the Rain

I said in an earlier post I would discuss how I plan to write the draft of Racing the Rain online. I borrowed the idea from Silvia Hartmann, who wrote her book, The Dragon Lords, live using Google Docs. I don’t have Ms. Hartmann’s guts to write live and in real time.
