NaNo disappointment

It’s been over a month since I updated the blog. Had I been more productive during NaNoWriMo, this post would be a little more upbeat. Truth is, this was my worst NaNo since I started in 2009. A week into NaNoWriMo and still feel good about writing. I’ve managed to stay ahead of the word count, and on the one day I fell behind, was able to catch up the next day. NaNoWriMo

Word count done for the day, though I think as of this writing I will push my count over 9,000 words. I feel content with my performance. I could inflate what I have by another 2,000-3,000 words, but I like the story to be somewhat coherent so I have an idea where I am going. As long as I stay about the NaNoWriMo daily word count, if only by 50 words, then I am happy.

Had my first low word count day.
